This place was a great base for exploring the area, with an ideal location just a 15-minute drive from Ty Mawr Country Park and close to Llangollen and Wrexham.

The place is located in a peaceful area near Llangollen and Wrexham, the owner is very likeable, and the apartment has a beautiful bathroom with a bath.

This charming cottage offers stunning views and a cosy, comfortable atmosphere for a relaxing holiday home. The host, Bronwen, is lovely and provided excellent tips, including a fantastic restaurant recommendation. The surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for exploration. Great find!

Stunning views and a cozy, comfortable atmosphere made our Christmas stay truly magical. The cottage provided everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and excellent WiFi. The spaciousness for a couple in a small cottage was a pleasant surprise. We were able to easily drive to nearby attractions and enjoyed the convenience of ample parking on site. The owner was incredibly helpful and even baked us a delicious cake. The provided information, including an Ordnance Survey map, allowed us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings and go on scenic walks.

The only minor negatives were a few cobwebs/spiderwebs in some rooms, but that's to be expected in the countryside. the decor could use a refresh.

The apartment at The Cottage in Llangollen is cozy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a TV to enjoy. I loved the bedroom and the bathroom, which had a shower. It made me feel at home during my stay.

Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower. But I understand that others might still find the shower enjoyable.

The cottage had a charming and cozy decor that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had a lovely ambiance. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the cottage, with no steep stairs or difficult obstacles to navigate. It was perfect for a relaxing vacation.

I would have loved to have more assistance from the staff, especially for us seniors. It would have been nice if the children working there could have offered more guidance and support during our stay.

We had an incredible stay at this hidden gem! The views from the cottage were absolutely stunning, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surrounding countryside. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed for a perfect holiday home. We even received some fantastic local tips from the owner, including a recommendation for a new restaurant in town which turned out to be one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The area is perfect for both relaxing and exploring, and we were able to comfortably work from the cottage on one of the days. The thoughtful touches, like a large TV with free view and Netflix, a lovely bathroom with a walk-in shower, and ample parking on-site, made our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this cottage and can't wait to return in the future!

We have holidayed in this area twice yearly for 20 years, and The Cottage in Llangollen is the best set up thus far. It is a lovely romantic setting just a short distance from the main road, and conveniently located near Llangollen and Ruabon. The cottage itself is spacious, providing a cosy and comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities. We were particularly impressed with the stunning views and the helpful tips provided by Bronwen, the host. One of her recommendations led us to The Three Eagles in Llangollen, where we enjoyed one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The cottage proved to be a perfect home away from home while we were working in the area. We will definitely be back.

Magnificent views and comfortable bed. Well-equipped kitchen with excellent WiFi. The spacious cottage was great for a couple. Easy drive to nearby attractions and good information provided, including a map.

Some cobwebs and outdated decor, but not a major issue. The steep stairs could be challenging for some.

Value for money was excellent, got a beautiful cottage with magnificent views, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and lovely shower room. The location was superb and peaceful, with ample free parking on site. The owner was always on hand, baking delicious cakes and providing useful tips for exploring the area.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.
